Grindpad heeft het concert van zondag 6 september wegens privéomstandigheden moeten afzeggen. Defazer neemt hun plek in tijdens het concert met Nefarious.

NEFARIOUS

Nefarious komt voort uit de legendarische metalscene van San Francisco en brengt een compromisloze thrashmetal-aanpak met een opvallend ervaren bezetting. De band combineert melodie en harmonie met verpletterende riffs en strakke precisie, gemaakt voor liefhebbers van pure thrash. Frontman Sean Rivera staat centraal met een directe, intense vocal attack en een sterke podiumpresence. Op gitaar vormen Rick Hunolt (DieHumane, ex-Exodus) en Doug Piercy (ex-Heathen, ex-Anvil Chorus) een twin-axe aanval vol riffs en snijdende solo’s. Tom Gears (Blind Illusion, Ancient Mariner) levert de donderende low-end, terwijl Will “Beastman” Carroll (Death Angel) achter de drums zorgt voor een fel en exact slagwerkfundament. Nefarious staat voor onopgesmukte thrash metal, met nieuw materiaal in het vooruitzicht.

DEFAZER

Defazer is het levende bewijs dat thrash metal geen museumstuk is. Sinds hun oprichting in 2015 in Den Haag jaagt de band compromisloos op snelheid, techniek en agressie, met de klassiekers van Megadeth, Slayer en Testament hoorbaar in het DNA. Hun sound is technisch en messcherp, soms ronduit kwaadaardig, maar altijd gedreven door pure honger.

Na de goed ontvangen EP Order Out Of Chaos zette Defazer in 2020 een grote stap met het volledig in eigen beheer opgenomen album Burning Horizon. Live bewees de band zich al naast namen als Night Demon en Flotsam & Jetsam. Ongetekend, maar allesbehalve onopgemerkt: Defazer speelt thrash zoals het bedoeld is — fel, strak en zonder rem.

DEFAZER

Defazer is living proof that thrash metal is no museum piece. Since their formation in 2015 in The Hague, the band has relentlessly pursued speed, precision and aggression, with the classics of Megadeth, Slayer and Testament clearly embedded in their DNA. Their sound is technical and razor-sharp, at times downright vicious, but always driven by pure hunger.

Following the well-received EP Order Out Of Chaos, Defazer took a major step forward in 2020 with the release of their fully self-produced album Burning Horizon. Live, the band has already shared the stage with acts such as Night Demon and Flotsam & Jetsam. CHEMICIDE

Chemicide bouwt sinds 2011 aan een internationale thrashreputatie met 1 EP en 5 LP’s, uitgebracht via labels over de hele wereld en ondersteund door wereldwijde DIY-tours. De band is momenteel getekend bij Listenable Records en bracht hun meest recente album Violence Prevails uit. Chemicide tourde door Zuid-, Midden- en Noord-Amerika en Europa en speelde met acts als Toxic Holocaust, Hatebreed en Municipal Waste. Hun sociale betrokkenheid bracht hen naar festivals als Alcatraz, Summer Breeze en Into the Grave. In meer dan tien jaar verkochten ze wereldwijd 12.000+ exemplaren.

VELOZZA

VELOZZA komt uit Roermond en beweegt sinds 2016 aan de rafelrand van de Nederlandse thrashscene. Met het album Apocaholic (2021) en de EP Bankrupt the Republic (2023) bouwde de band via mond-tot-mondreclame en veel liveshows gestaag momentum op. In 2026 verschijnt Humanity: tien thrashtracks, volledig self-recorded en self-produced, met rauwe intensiteit, snelheid en scherpe riffs. Tekstueel duikt het album in maatschappelijke breuken en chaos, en bevat het een high-velocity samenwerking met Chemicide.

Formed in Roermond in 2016, VELOZZA have been pushing their way through the Dutch thrash underground with a steady live drive and strong word of mouth. After the full-length Apocaholic (2021) and the EP Bankrupt the Republic (2023), the band returns with Humanity (2026)—a fiercely independent, fully self-recorded and self-produced statement. Across ten blistering tracks, VELOZZA hit with razor-sharp riffs, relentless speed, and visceral energy, tackling themes of societal fracture and modern chaos. The album also features a high-velocity collaboration with Costa Rican thrashers Chemicide.
