DOOM GONG

DOOM GONG is een zevenkoppige band uit Louisville, Kentucky (VS), gevormd in 2022 door “music school nerds”. Ze maakten internationaal naam met hun eigen, zelfbedachte stijl Denim Psych: een eigenzinnige mix van psychedelic rock, jazz fusion, bedroom pop, lo-fi en hedendaags klassiek, gedreven door bloed, zweet en een flinke dosis denim. Na twee LP’s in 2023 (DOOM GONG en Dream Behemoth) groeide de band snel uit tot een vaste waarde in de psych-scene, met enigmatische, naadloze liveshows naast acts als Amyl and the Sniffers, The Black Angels en BADBADNOTGOOD. In 2024 volgden twee zomertours (24 shows) door de oostelijke VS en Canada, plus een vinylrelease via Romanus Records die binnen een uur uitverkocht was. In 2025 verschijnt hun derde LP MEGAGONG, gevolgd door een grote internationale tour in 2026.

The Fairleys

The Fairleys is een vierkoppige band uit Den Haag die ontstond in de oefenruimtes van Musicon, waar muzikanten met uiteenlopende muzikale achtergronden elkaar vonden. Die verschillende invloeden komen samen in een dynamische en contrastrijke sound die tijdens liveoptredens voortdurend schakelt tussen verstilde melodieën en krachtige uitbarstingen van gitaargeweld. Waar het ene moment ruimte is voor dromerige zang, volgt het volgende moment een energieke en intense ontlading. Met de release van een EP en een volwaardig album, beide geproduceerd door Henk Koorn, heeft de band een stevige artistieke basis gelegd en een eigen muzikale identiteit ontwikkeld. The Fairleys combineren melodie, intensiteit en karakter tot een meeslepende live-ervaring die hun veelzijdigheid en gezamenlijke muzikale visie overtuigend laat horen.

DOOM GONG

DOOM GONG is a seven-piece from Louisville, Kentucky (USA), formed in 2022 by a crew of self-described “music school nerds.” They’ve built an international reputation around their home-baked genre Denim Psych, a blood-sweat-and-denim collision of psychedelic rock, jazz fusion, bedroom pop, lo-fi, and contemporary classical music. After releasing two LPs in 2023 (DOOM GONG and Dream Behemoth), the band quickly became a psych-scene mainstay, bringing enigmatic, seamless live shows to stages alongside acts such as Amyl and the Sniffers, The Black Angels, and BADBADNOTGOOD, and to festivals including Treefort Music Fest and Sled Island. In 2024 they expanded their reach with two summer tours totaling 24 shows across the eastern US and Canada, followed by a Romanus Records vinyl pressing of their debut that sold out within an hour. In 2025, DOOM GONG releases their long-awaited third LP MEGAGONG and launches a massive international tour across the US, Canada, and Europe.

The Fairleys

The Fairleys is a four-piece band from The Hague that formed in the rehearsal rooms of Musicon, where musicians with diverse musical backgrounds came together. These varied influences merge into a dynamic sound full of contrasts; during live performances, the band constantly shifts between hushed melodies and powerful bursts of guitar-driven intensity. Moments of dreamy vocals give way to energetic, explosive releases of energy. With the release of an EP and a full-length album—both produced by Henk Koorn—the band has established a solid artistic foundation and developed a distinctive musical identity.
