TYMPANIC

INDEX Presents TYMPANIC, a club night focused on the harder and more energetic styles of electronic dance music. The INDEX crew compiled a quality line-up where you can expect a wide range of left-field sounds and organic atmospheres spread over two areas from UK Bass, DnB, Jungle to IDM and other breaks infused dance music.

LINE UP

BOX5IVE

Box5ive is a DJ, live performer and sound designer based in London. He has released tracks on labels like Well Street Records and Comic Sans Records and his debut LP will be released in June 2024 on co:clear, alongside two other EP’s and appearances. His musical style ranges from UK bass, ambient, IDM and cinematic bass-heavy dub frequencies.

FORESENSE (LIVE)

Robert Beenen has been making melodic breaks-oriented electronic music since the late 1990s under the alias Foresense (previously as Forlon and Missingsense). The inspiration started with jungle in the ’90s and early Warp artists like Squarepusher and Autechre,  influences you can still hear in his music.

TRVLR

Vincent Berends is the man behind this alias, also the organizer of Neurofu*k, Eleusis and Club Opgerold. In addition to sets at its own events, TRVLR is a popular act at, among others. PRSPCT, Liquicity and Soul Patrol. Expect a special set for INDEX from this drum and bass instigator.

Robbers b2b Triqo

Jeroen Robbers (aka Supply Module) and Tristan van der Laan (aka TRIQO) are both members of the Leiden Ketelruis collective. Ketelruis organizes evenings in Leiden and surrounding areas in harder alternative styles of electronic music such as breakcore, hardcore, jungle, drum & bass and (hard) techno. Robbers is also label boss of Zero71 Recordings.

OKIN-OMIS

Embarking on journeys as a field-recordist by exploring the outside world through sound and capture audio from various locations, OKIN-OMIS’ creative process and strategy form a harmonious collaboration between nature, humanity and machines.

INDEX Crew (Chill-Out area)

The chill-out area is provided by INDEX members Edward Johannes, Backspace, Foresense and Dayo. In addition to (audio/visual) artists, these members of the crew are also music lovers and collectors and will play their most valuable finds full of soundscapes and rhythms to recover from the violence in the main area.
