STAHLFABRIKAT PRESENTEERT: NEO CLUB CLASS-X

Het Noors/Nederlands collectief StahlFabrikat organiseert onder de koepel van Arctic Movement (gevestigd in 2008) op eigen initiatief en/of in samenwerking met reeds bestaande locaties multimediale evenementen in de alternatieve hoek op diverse locaties in zowel Nederland als Noorwegen met een mogelijk toekomstige uitbreiding naar Polen.

StahlFabrikat onderscheidt zich met name van andere vergelijkbare organisaties door het aanbieden van een volledig verzorgd avondvullend totaalpakket.

Headliner voor vanavond is de veelbelovende jonge Canadese band distraction4ever. De eveneens veelbelovende Haagse songwriter ECAED zal voorafgaand hieraan in zijn allereerste semi-live set eigen composities ten gehore brengen.

DJ Dragnet en DJ Fred vullen de avond in met niet alleen klassieke deuntjes uit de alternatieve & obscure hoek, maar ook met deuntjes die in de toekomst als klassiekers zullen worden beschouwd.

Het evenement wordt omlijst met speciaal hiervoor geselecteerde visuals.

DISTRACTION4EVER (CAN)

Post-Punk, New Wave, Minimal Wave, Indie

Energiek, boeiend en soms tumultueus – distraction4ever is de nieuwste band in town. De in Montreal gevestigde band combineert diverse Post-Punk invloeden met kapotte versterkers, analoge synthesizers, snelle drumcomputers, textuurverkenningen en vervormde vocalen waardoor het publiek tegelijkertijd nostalgisch, geïnspireerd en klaar voor nog een glas wijn achterblijft.

ECAED (NL)

Alternative

ECAED is een 23-jarige artiest die zich voornamelijk focust op drijvende baslijnen, ECAED werkt met basgitaar, analoge en digitale synthesizers om tracks te creëren. ECAED is een soloproject, aangezien ze alles zelf doen, het schrijven, de instrumentatie, sound design, mixen en produceren. Het nieuwste album, Binary Shards, focust op het creëren van unieke sferen door menselijke ervaringen te vertalen naar geluid.

DJ DRAGNET (NL)

DJ Dragnet neemt luisteraars mee op een nostalgische reis, niet alleen langs de roots van vroege Post-Punk, Goth en New Wave, maar ook door recentere (sub-)genres als Coldwave, Indiepop, Shoegaze, Dreampop, Ethereal Wave en Minimal Synth. 

Hij staat bekend om het ontdekken van verborgen pareltjes en vergeten klassiekers en boeit het publiek met zijn diepgaande kennis van de muziekgeschiedenis. DJ Dragnet verbindt verleden en heden naadloos en levert boeiende en educatieve optredens die een blijvende indruk achterlaten.

DJ FRED

Fred is als DJ actief sinds midden jaren ’80 van de vorige eeuw. Hij organiseerde diverse duistere feesten op diverse duistere locaties en draaide zijn obscure collectie deuntjes bij legendarische Blitz-parties, New Wave City (Paard van Troje), Iets Vrijers, de Blauwe Aanslag, Sater/Rockz, Tagrijn en talloze Halloweenparties. 

Initiatiefnemer van onder meer Dockwerk, Playing With Old Toys en StahlFabrikat. Was jarenlang resident-d.j. van diverse inmiddels terziele gegane Haagse etablissementen als Confusion, LokaalVredebreuk, Café De Vinger en Danzkafé Sowieso. 

STAHLFABRIKAT PRESENTS: NEO CLUB CLASS-X

The Norwegian/Dutch collective StahlFabrikat organizes multimedia events in the alternative corner under the umbrella of Arctic Movement (established 2008) on its own initiative and/or in collaboration with existing locations at various locations in both the Netherlands and Norway with a possible future expansion to Poland.

StahlFabrikat distinguishes itself from other similar organizations in particular by offering a fully catered evening-filling total package.

The headliner for tonight will be the promising young Canadian band distraction4ever. Before this, the equally promising songwriter ECAED from The Hague will perform own compositions in his first ever semi-live set.

DJ Dragnet and DJ Fred will fill the evening with not only classic tunes from the alternative & obscure corner, but also with tunes that will be considered classics in the future.

The event will be framed with visuals specially selected for this event.

The Montreal-based blends diverse Post-Punk influences with broken amplifiers, analog synthesizers, rapid drum machines, textural explorations and distorted vocals, leaving the audience simultaneously nostalgic, inspired and ready for another glass of wine.

ECAED is a 23-year-old artist who primarily focuses on driving basslines, working with bass guitar, analogue and digital synthesizers to create tracks. ECAED is a solo project, as they do everything from writing, vocals, instrumentation, sound design, to mixing and production themselves. Their newest album, Binary Shards, focuses on creating unique atmospheres by translating human experiences into sound. 

DJ DRAGNET (NL)

DJ Dragnet guides listeners on a nostalgic voyage not only through the roots of early Post-Punk, Goth and New Wave, but also through more recent (sub-)genres like Coldwave, Indie Pop, Shoegaze, Dream Pop, Ethereal Wave and Minimal Synth as well. 

Renowned for uncovering hidden gems and forgotten classics, he captivates audiences with his profound knowledge of music history. Seamlessly connecting past and present, DJ Dragnet delivers engaging and educational performances that leave a lasting impression.

DJ FRED

Fred has been active as a DJ since the mid-80s of the previous century. He organized various dark parties at various dark locations and played his obscure collection of tunes at legendary Blitz parties, New Wave City (Paard van Troje), Iets Vrijers, de Blauwe Aanslag, Sater/Rockz, Tagrijn and countless Halloween parties. 

Initiator of Dockwerk, Playing With Old Toys and StahlFabrikat, among others. Was resident DJ for years at various now defunct establishments in The Hague such as Confusion, LokaalVredebreuk, Café De Vinger and Danzkafé Sowieso.
