FRESH! is a new and vibrant jazz concert series in Den Haag. Featuring fresh music projects by the young international musicians connected to the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. The artists in our line-up span from traditional jazz bands to soulful pop vocalists, and from professional orchestras to party-creating swing bands giving a great taste of what global jazz is like in our city. tooFRESH! is the second edition of our concept. It will show Den Haag that its local scene of upcoming talent is more alive than ever and ready to get on stage!
Hue Blanes Lowlands Quartet
Melbourne born pianist, now living in Den Haag, plays surprising and adventurous music. In this new release he’s presenting, 52.0447° N, 4.2033° E features musicians living in The Hague (hence the coordinates), Netherlands, as well as in collaboration with Melbourne musicians. That makes this a quintessentially global album. During this show the Hue Blanes Lowlands Quartet will be playing songs from their new album.
