FRESH!
FRESH! is a new and vibrant jazz concert series in Den Haag. Featuring fresh music projects by the young international musicians connected to the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. The artists in our line-up span from traditional jazz bands to soulful pop vocalists, and from professional orchestras to party-creating swing bands. FRESH! is here to show Den Haag that its local scene of upcoming talent is more alive than ever and ready to get on stage!
Pietro Mirabassi Nonet
Pietro Mirabassi Nonet is a new project involving nine active jazz musicians based in The Hague. Pietro’s post-bop compositions and arrangements are overall swinging and deeply rooted in the jazz tradition.
The horn section is formed by Niccolò Angioni on trumpet, Hugo Nòbrega Santos on trombones, and Jaume Pineda Soler, Camilo Archain, and Pietro Mirabassi on saxophones. The horns are joined by a solid rhythm section composed by Emiliano Roca on guitar, Jan Domenech on piano, Arjun Ramdas on bass and Egidio Gentile on drums.
